Our People

Mike and Jennifer Banker — Principals

Mike grew up on St. Simons and knows the area and people like no one else. Along with his wife Jennifer, Mike leads Banker Real Estate and Lighthouse Vacations.  Jennifer is also a real estate attorney (licensed in GA and TX) and Realtor.  Together, they have overseen a small, boutique group of vacation rentals on Sea Island and St Simons, Georgia, including their own rental properties, and have a successful history of making guests happy.

Ryan Casey — CTO & Principal

Ryan has been vacationing on St Simons Island since 1989. His parents rented beach side condos in those days.  Now, he owns his own vacation rental on the Island and has dedicated his expertise in Marketing, Sales, and Service technologies to make Lighthouse what it is.

Jonathan Shipley — Principal

Jonathan grew up on St Simons and has managed many of the Island’s best vacation rental properties for many years.  Jonathan has personally overseen approximately 10% of vacation rental properties on the Island.

Brooke O’Hare — Administrator / Logistics

Brooke’s background is diverse, originating in the Arts having worked in galleries in Boston and New York, continuing her education in London, England with Sotheby’s Auction House. Returning to New York and becoming the Assistant to the Head of the Faberge and Russian Works of Art Department at Habsburg Feldman Auction House. Upon their relocating, moved on to become Assistant to the Vice President of a high volume Market Research Company designing reports and presentations. After 9/11 and the Market Research company reorganizing, Brooke and her husband pursued the dream of opening up a restaurant. Brooke’s husband being from Ireland, they opened an Irish Family Restaurant & Pub and worked 24/7 for the next 10 years in Pennsylvania. They then decided to move closer to family in St. Simons where they both had the privilege to become a part of the Banker Real Estate family as Administrative and Maintenance support.
