Butter Side Up Cottage features all one level living during your vacation stay. This cottage has been completely renovated with a new floorplan that sleeps 9 guests and has a private 10’ X 22’ pool, which can be heated during the cooler months (for an additional fee). Butter Side Up offers an ideal location midway from the village to public beach entrances. A guest favorite is the oversized screened in front porch, which is perfect for relaxation spot or comfortable outdoor dining.

THE SPACE
Entry from the screened in front porch into the open concept family room with TV, kitchen to the left and dining nook at the entry. To the right is an office, if you have to work while on vacation.


Bedrooms:
* Primary: King bed, pool views, ensuite bath with step-in shower, TV
* Second: Queen bed, connected to jack and jill bath, TV
* Twins Room: two twin beds, TV, hall bath with tub
* Bunk Room: full bed on the bottom, twin on top, hall bath with tub

Bathrooms:
* Primary: dual sinks, step-in shower
* Jack-n-Jill: full bath with step-in shower
* Hall Bath: full bath with tub/shower combo
* Heated outdoor shower to rinse off the sand before jumping in the pool.

Pool is approximately 22 x 10ft

We're located mid-beach - halfway between the St Simons Pier Village and East Beach. This stretch of beach is not tide dependent and has plenty of walking distance in both directions. We're walking distance to local restaurant favorites like Crab Daddy's, Barrier Island Brewing, Fiddlers, and Porch.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.

Pets: This home is dog friendly for dogs 25lbs or less with $250 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host puppies < 1 year old or breeds known to insurance carriers as 'vicious', please ask if you're not sure.

Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $75/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool!

No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.

Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.

No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.
